Purchased a couple of Nissan Murano Transponder key blanks off of eBay. Got the keys cut and the work the doors and glove box okay. Took the blanks to the dealership and was going to purchase a new key from them and have all the keys programmed. They called and said they could not program the eBay keys. But low and behold, they were not able to provide me the additional key from the dealership. They said they would have to order me a key like the ones that are inside the key fob. I am inclined to believe they just are not doing it correctly. Does anyone have any information I can use to prove my theory. I have a 2006 with the Intelligent Key. Details on exactly how they program the key would be helpful.

I had already done that, but I need more information. Is there any reason those eBay transponder key blanks would not work if properly programmed?

Well, I have no idea what "eBay transponder key blanks" really are. Are they the correct Nissan keys for your vehicle that somebody is selling on ebay? Assuming they are, then the thread above explains how it can be done. If they are not the correct keys, then it can't. I am assuming since you bought them, you know they are the correct keys?

Years ago, I bought an Ebay trasponder key. Never worked. Use it for an extra door unlocker, or throw it away. I assure you, it's trash.
