Let me know if this is correct:
I need to buy a Harmon Kardon Drive + Play for about $199. and a PAC AII-NIS2 for about $84.-$98. to have the equipment to do the iPod install.

Yikees! That's about $300 + installation.

I might as well go for a cheap Belkin Tunecast with FM modulator for the time being and wait for the Nissan OEM upgade

The only problem is that Nissan may never come out with the upgrade.

Are there any other alternatives?

you dont need the Harmon Kardon ipod kit really. Just need the PAC and a cable for your ipod.

Someone else on the forum said I need the AAI-NIS2 and the PIE 3.5-RCA6MM.

Does that seem correct?

Do I need to also order the UII shown on the above web page to connect to the iPod? When I click on the UII link, it takes me to the following web page about the Blitzsafe UII product / iPod connector:

yep this sounds right to me. Basically this will plug into your headset jack and then into the PAC

No, you do not need the Blitsafe unless you want a one cable charge solution until the iPod Nissan adapter comes out.

I have the PAC, a 3 foot RCA cable and The Monster Cable car charger. That specific charger is nice because the 3.5MM audio connecter plugs in the dock connector end of the cable so I just have to plug my ipod in to one thing when in the car and it charges and has audio.

The Monster charger is coiled so I snaked hte audio cable up the middle of the coil, plugged the 3.5 adapter in to it and away I go.

this is my setup until the Nissan Murano adapter comes out in a few months.
