I'm currently using the Griffin Airclick. It is a wireless remote that you can clip or velcro to any surface. I currently have mine in the lighted cell phone holder so I can see the buttons at night. That way, I can close the cover and have an entirely stealth install (I've got the PAC wires running to the armrest and the ipod plays/charges in there). Everything out there now is a seperate remote like the Harmon Kardon for $200 at Crutchfield. The Airclick is only $30 on Ebay or $50 at CompUSA. This only works with the older 3rd/4th gen Ipod and the Photo version and not with the Nano or Video version. Wouldn't it be great if PAC made a little black box that took the IPOD display and fed it to the stereo? Maybe next year...
