is there a hidden class III (2") hitch for 2023 Nissan Murano

Is there a hidden Class III (2") hitch available from any company for a 2023 Nissan Murano? I only need it for bike carriers - I don't need it for towing. I would like it to be hidden, not visible below the bumper.

We asked about this when we bought our 2022 Murano. The dealer told us they could install one, but the foot operated rear hatch device would have to be relocated. We opted not to have it done. Please let us know if you have this done as we are still interested in it. I believe they said it would be about $2000 for the entire job.

2k is way too much. Take it to a hitch instal place.2

That's what I thought too. We did not have the dealership do it. Probably will go somewhere else if we decide to get one.
I don't see any of the hidden hitch variety available. Wonder if it means the Murano doesn't have the attachment points behind the bumper. The regular curt hitch interferes a little with the sensors but there are enough sensors that if you kick to the side of the hitch it still seems to be able to operate. Good video of that regular style hitch at etralier.com showing it working without relocating sensors. But it isn't hidden.
I have a regular 2" receiver from etrailer. The kick sensor never worked for me with the hitch installed, but no big deal because the button on the liftgate works fine.

The stealership is not your friend. The rear hatch foot sensor did not need to be relocated when I installed my OEM hitch and it works properly. The hitch is only 1 1/4, but with an adapter I'm able to put my Kuat rack on and it's been working fine. The OEM hitch ran me $320 but I installed it myself. It's not hard, but you will remove the muffler to do it, but that's easy and I think the hitch came with a new seal for that.

For those unaware, the part number for a late model Murano hitch is 999T5-C3200 and should be around $350. Given the weight, you're best off getting it from a local dealer unless one of the online stores covers the shipping. You can find aftermarket brands, but IMO they look trashy. The factory hitch is very low profile with nothing attached to it.

Thanks for the info, Expat21. I will look into that. To be honest, I had not considered it after what the dealer told me.
Would recommend only a 2" hitch. It's a simple install basically screw in the bolts and I think it was a nominal cost ($20) from the place I bought the hitch. I got Draw-tite over Curt because of its towing capacity (something like that or downward force). Cost is pretty much the same, relatively cheap under $300. Only complaint with this hitch is that it has minor bubbling and rusting at the weld spots so I've been actively? sanding an repainting each year with rustoleum. The kick sensor underneath does not work.. sometimes triggered when washing the car down there. It doesn't bother me at all.

Happened to be at the car wash so I snapped another pic. Again, the foot sensor does work with the factory hitch (not with the rack on, obviously). Their own literature says it won’t work, but I didn’t change anything with it and it works for me. Maybe they’re just trying to sell another expensive sensor.

I put a used Murano hitch on my 2007 (Ebay find). It was a simple bolt-on. One good bit of advice I got was to buy the factory wiring harness for towing. It plugged into the car's wiring and there was a rubber grommet on the wires where it needed to go through a plugged hole in the floor.

Thanks again for the update. I will most likely look into getting a 2" hitch in the near future.
Mine was purchased used. It already had the hitch installed. It does interfere with the foot operated hatch release most of the time. It may depend on the installation.
