What I can't figure out is 1) what makes it so special, 2) if it is a "special edition" why not release it in the US, and 3) why does the Murano warrant a "special edition" limited to just 100 units?

I was more impressed by the woman in the Australian Murano "commercial."

Since the "sunlit copper" color was discontinued in the US, perhaps it is returning to the JDM model as a special edition.

They just painted red and add few extras to add $4,000. to the reg. model...

People buy the limited model in Japan so they can maintain high resale value...


Only thing you can't get by buying reg. model and adding option is the special color.... ( Well, you can always take it to maaco....)

I am affraid not...

I checked the Nissan site, and like I said only special thing was the color.... everything else are available as optional parts. Such as inteligent key system, roof rails...etc...
