I just finishd changing "the bulb" (RH Fog to those of you who havent experienced it). Took about 20 minutes. Since I use these as DRL and they are on most of the time, bulb life is a little shorter. I am thinking about the resistor to drop the voltage a little and prolong the bulb life. Using my DRL mod, a single resistor in the mod output wire would do it. Since 8-9 amps are flowing, I guess 0.25 ohms @ 25 watts would do it. Thats a 2V drop. I'll experiment and let you know what happens to the brightness.

Another subject. As good as they are, the Amsoil bypass filters I have installed are really beginning to annoy me. The noise I ranted about whin I installed them has never really gone away. At the next oil change, I think I am going to go back to a stock filter (either the Amsoil SDF-13 with its 12500 mile change recommendation, or a Pure One.
