Hey All-

Anyone had any experience with someone taking over their lease through NMAC? I am reading that even if someone passes the credit check and assumes your lease, you are still on the lease as a guarantor. Seems kind of silly to me. If I want out, I want OUT. I feel that if I'm not driving it anymore, why should I be financially responsible?

Do I make sense? Any alternatives? And.. is this even the case?

Thanks!

Have you checked with the F & I manager at the dealership where you picked up the car? Have you called Nissan's leasing division?
