Hello,

I keep getting Check Engine light (P0101) error. Replaced the MAF sensor 2x, new air filter. Reset/erased the codes. Still, the Check Engine light comes on in about 2 weeks. Any ideas? Thanks

Check for loose clamp connections on your air intake line. From the air filter box to the manifold itself. You might have a vacuum leak/loss.

Hello. New to the forum. I have 2012 Murano with 130,000 miles. I’m not ready to trade but I need advice. I noticed infrequently loss of power and thinking back mainly starting out or trying to accelerate. I got the dreaded check engine light. Went to advance auto. Code was P0101. Husband changed the MAF sensor. I didn’t know anything about reprogramming after that change. I’m looking for info in that now BUT the light didn’t clear. Was told it may take a few drives before it did. However a couple days go by I get another light (car with tire marks under it) and the car felt like it slipped. I stopped at a auto shop and they just cleared the codes. Said come back if they return. Well the lights are back. Recheck in codes are P0101, P0868, C1155 and c1130. WTH one code to now 4 codes. Btw I’m scared to drive the car because now it’s jerking intermittently. When I was getting the codes rechecked the guy said well the car sounds good and smooth running. Then mentioned maybe the C1130 code may be contributing to all the other codes. I’m just wondering if anyone else had experienced this or loves a challenge. Ughh

Pull the air intake hose and check for splitting. Several owners have reported theirs split causing some air not to be seen by the MAF and this causes driveability issues. Simple fix and not too expensive.

Similar story, didn't replace sensor, but used cleaning spray, light came back in about a week. Took it to Autozone got a free scan, turns out it's the catalytic converter.

This was the issue on my Murano. Got the part (intake air hose) for $37 on Amazon. Cleared codes, and cleaned the throttle body while I was in there. She runs like a dream. That plasticy original hose was cracked in 4 places, vacum leaks for days. The replacement Amazon unit was actually better made. I also had to go through the idle relearn procedure as well, to get rid of the high idle from the vacuum leaks. It idles at 750rpm continuously now.

Had the same issue with multiple rips and cracks, but without a code and purchased from amazon. Noticed an increase in performance and idel at 750rpm after replacing. I ended up change spark plugs and cleaning the throttle body. Had to to the TB relearn process afterwards.
