So yesterday the MIL came on in the early morning. I drove the night before and nothing but when I turned on the car the morning the MIL came on. Ive had my car for almost 2 years no issues except this light. It also has around 6,000 miles barely. Anyone know what it could be or why the light could be on?? I have an appt at the dealer soon

Did you recently fill up with fuel? Make sure your gas cap is tight...

Go to an auto parts store and ask them to scan for codes since the MIL is on. Post what code(s) they find. Do you notice any issues while driving the car?

I’m screwed the gas cap yesterday just to make sure and the light is still on. I’m gonna pump gas today see if that helps

Nope. I don’t hear any engine noises or other noises from it when I’m driving that’s why I’m surprised the MIL light came on

Be sure to stop when the pump clicks off, don't try to add anymore.
