When you live outside the US, you don't get to put the postal code. Just the city name. For some reason it put my pin right where there is a liquor store. :2:

That site is cool. Hope my MO is watertight--I'm in the middle of the Pacific ocean, really!

No worries! Just zoom in and you will find yourself (and the MO) on dry land....:)

I didn't realize how detailed this was until after I had posted my general location.

Is there a way to move a locater tab, or delete it and repost.

Hmmm, I can see your concern. Those hybrid/satellite maps are pretty detailed.

I'm shown in the middle of what used to be sugar cane or pineapple fields :29:

For maps, I like GoogleEarth the best. Theres nothing like seeing the car in your driveway.

You can rotate the view and do TRUE flybys at any given altitude.

Give it a try.

Hi, just put my name on the map. One thing I noticed is that the map does not have very detail map for Singapore so it can only capture everyone from Singapore at the country level.

I would love to get to see my fellow Singapore MO owners down to the street detail but I guess this is not possible.

Aw man! My zip code always puts me in the middle of Renton, a good 10 miles away from where I really am in Newcastle...

Mine too........but who cares....;) at least it gives us general idea where we are.

PS. When I first stumbled on Google maps I was stunned to see my driveway! Pretty scary stuff.....imagine what military or spy satellites can do.......

Anyone that is really impressed by this needs to check out "Google Earth":

http://earth.google.com/

Free download, and very very cool. Basically it's a new version of the old "Keyhole" software. Lets you zoom in on satellite images all over the world.

I've wasted many hours just playing with this thing. Great fun! :)

My Spot got in the wrong place

Can someone tell me how to delete my pin so I can get it in the right place?

I contacted the company.
They pointed out that your pin was in the right place.
You, however are in the wrong place.

They do some kind of averaging and there is no way to erase and reposition.

The price of Realestate is going up so fast here that I can't even keep track of it.
