Anyone know what this thin metal piece is?

I am in the process of changing the wheel hub and bearing on my 2011 Murano and found this laying on the ground after I popped the old hub off.

It‘s quite thin and very rusty. Looks to be about an inch in diameter.

Just want to make it goes back on where it’s supposed to.

It's probably a piece from one of the crusty wheel hub assemblies you pulled out.
