I have a 2005 SL. I am wanting to install 2 neon mood lights in each fllor under the dash. They require power from the battery or fuse box I guess. Since I do not want to endanger the electrical system of the Murano, what options do I have? I can't seem to locate a hotwire under the dash and I'm not sure how to install them into the fuse box. They require a simple on/off switch. Please help! Thanks!

MoPar and I installed Front floor lights (mine are amber) and used the power that feeds the interior welcome lights in the center of the roof.(dome lights) Check out the Murano manual. It's Cheap to buy and worth the money.

Problem is that they only come on when the door is open or the dome light is on. I am going to use an in-line fuse with an open fuse in the fuse box and connect a toggle switch. This way I can turn them on while driving and the in-line fuse protects the Murano's electrical integrity. This fuse will not compromise the warrenty! Thanks for your suggestion!

Interior light can be switched on

when you want and it is a fused circuit.
