Now why would someone be selling a transmission for something that's still in warranty? Why would he even have it? Why would it even be purchased?

Dealer warranty claim against Nissan, but never installed?

Hmmm... There's a way to make money. Take a transmission from a wrecked Murano, install it as a warranty replacement and sell the one Nissan ships you.

No matter how you slice it, it looks curious.

Although this price does sound low. I was told that the CVT is cheaper to manufacture and has less parts than a typical tranny.
