Hello,
Does anyone know how to remove the nissan connect icon from the Nav screen of a 2021 Nissan Murano Platinum? The icon is a car with a line across it on the top right corner of the nav screen when in map mode. I purchased the vehicle used a week ago from a dealer and the moment I first test drove the car we noticed this little car icon with a line across it at the top right corner of the nav system in Map mode. Annoying!!! I am not 100% sure it is the Nissan Connect icon but everything seems to point that way.

I have read the manual back & forth, searched the internet, even called the dealer trying to find a way to remove that annoying icon to no avail. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Cryogenix1 thanks for the response but no cigar. I had a similar thought about connecting the car to a wireless network so I connected it to my home network and the icon remained. I did use the connection to check that the software versions of the map and vehicle are up to date but the car icon remained as always with line across.

Per MuranoSL2003 recomendation I am posting a picture of the icon for those not familiar with it.

No, this model does not seem to have HD radio.

Yes I suspect the signal reception is bad because I don't have a subscription to Nissan Connect (I also don't want one). I just want to remove the icon from the screen if possible.
