I contacted Nissan NA about the recent incident at my dealer where I was told by the service advisor that if I didn't have the $600 30k service done my warranty would be voided. They are taking action against the dealer. It's the first good thing that has happened in my service experience with Nissan. I took my M-O in yesterday because the front window won't stay shut when you use the auto up. They said it would cost $100 to fix, even though the car is still under warranty. They said it's not a warranty item -- it's an "adjustment", which runs out at 12k. Geeeeeez, they don't want me to buy another Nissan.

Good for taking the initiative to not tolerate that and have it addressed.

Love to hear how it turns out and any lessons learned in the process.

I think we all agree, that if they can improve their dealer standards, they would be more successful and build their repeat customer base.

Love the products, worry about a number of the dealers.
