Hi guys, I'm trying to track down NTSB # NTB03-072. A forum member from freshalloy.com posted the number. A couple of days ago I heard a bubbling/percolating sound sometimes when I start the car, it continues on and off while I'm driving.
The dealership said this was normal - that it's the sound of the venting system and ABS system checking itself (!!!!) - as if!
Others have posted this problem, comments below:
- seems to be air in the water system that makes it's way to the heater core.
- coolant was low, so when you start the car or move a air bubble goes through the system. Add some coolant and see if it makes the difference.
- an air bubble going through the system. Add some coolant and see if it makes the difference.
- It is NOT normal- it is air in cooling system, there is a TSB for it. It is NTB03-072. My car does not do it because it has no air in it.
If you are also experiencican find a link to that bulletin I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks.
