OK I've changed the MO's oil about 4 times now... and I've used ramps with very easy access. Last week I saw a thread here about not using ramps and doing it while on level ground. OK I thought I'll give it a try.
I did it without issue (I love this car).
Now I've only done it once without ramps but here is my question. I noticed that while on ramps the car took about 4 qts to fill.... when I changed the oil on without ramps the car took about 4.25.
Has anyone else noticed this? I would have thought that with ramps it would have drained a little more given the angle to the drain hole but I guess that is not the case.
If its true that you get more oil out of the MO when level then I'm never using ramps again.
