I searched the forum - did not find anyting on this topic. How do you de-bone the plastic assembly around the rear wiper blade to change it... or do you have to.

Dumb design on that thang. - My humble opinion. - Jim

if you search the old messages you will see that someone posted the pages from the service manual that describe how to remove the blade from the rear wiper..

Jim.. are you just trying to change the wiper blade??? or actually remove the whole assembly????

(it's not very clear, but you can change the wiper without removing the arm..)

let me see if I can find the page in the service manual..

if I remember correctly, the wiper blade "slides" toward one side (there is a spring, to keep tension on it..) then you can pop out one end ..

can someone post the instruction on how to change the rear wiper. i followed the link but i didn't see it. i also paid my $20 to download the manual, the site was down that day and they never refunded my money. go figure. thanks for the help

Pumpkin - I hope someone posts a new link (PDF) from the manual as well. Mine is up for a change soon (on the 2004). 2003 is gone.. never had long enough to change.


Also - any aftermarkets for the front ones that anyone's happy with?? Thanks -
