I got a surprise today after my 06 Murano was sitting in the sun. I never expected the center arm rest to be so hot!! Making the front edge from brushed aluminum is not a great idea.

The aluminum trim piece will heat up quicker but it will get no hotter than any other material used in the armrest.

Next time, be careful.

I guess its time to get a windshield sunshade for the Murano. Some dealerships sell custom sized ones (you can also get it from ebay).
