Here's mine.

1982(?) Plymouth Reliant - Absolute Junk!! Bought used. Of course, it had the strange capability to run even with nearly no coolant in the radiator. This car was the epitome of the 1980's American automotive industry destruction. I kept it for three years and then traded it in to get...

1989 Ford Taurus - Better Junk, but still lousy. Bought it new. It was my first new car, and I fell prey to the dealer. (Boy, was I ever naïve in those days about car sales). I must have put three radiators in it, and I know I had the air conditioning system replaced once. This thing ate CV boots and Tie Rods like nobody's business. I drove this until sometime around 2002. I probably spent more fixing it than I did buying it.

Got married. Wife's car was a...

1981 Chevy Cavalier - Another world-beater. At least it was made of sturdier metal than my old reliant, but it was terrible in every way. Replaced by...

1991 Nissan Sentra - Bought new. 5-Speed Manual. Had it until about 2006, put about 140,000 miles on it. This was a great car even though it was pretty stripped down. It was very reliable and very cheap to maintain. The only reason we got rid of it was that we had kids and needed something a bit larger. This was my wife's car while I drove the Taurus.

2000 Nissan Altima - Bought used. Had this until 2017. 5-Speed manual. Drove it until it had 185,000 miles. This was another really good car. I would have kept it longer, but I ran into issues with the timing belt tensioners and the clutch giving up the ghost at about the same time. It just wasn't worth fixing.

2004 Honda Odyssey.- Bought used in 2006. Still have this. It has about 185,000 miles now. My daughter drives it mainly for school functions and such. I don't know how long it has left. I'm kind of worried about the transmission on it, as it's kind of clunky in reverse. We'll keep it until it dies.

2017 Nissan Altima SL - Bought used. Wife drives this one. I really like it, except I like mine even more...

2018 Nissan Murano SL FWD - Bought used with 18K miles. Metallic Black with Cashmere interior. I hope to drive this until after I retire....that is, if I ever get to.

That's it...

I have driven everything from Fiat, BMW and Mercdes to Pontiac, Olds, International, Studebaker, AMC, Ford, Chevy, would make a long list. It includes sports cars, convertibles, trucks, station wagons, lots of variety.

I've only owned one Nissan - the 07 Murano, which I sold after it split its transfer case in half.

I've owned four Datsuns - 1970 240Z, 1976 280Z, 1982 280ZX, and my current 1983 280ZX Turbo.
