On my 2011 Murano I recently replaced the rear rotors (one was warped) with an aftermarket ones from Advance Auto. Everything is good and works fine but the emergency brake pedal goes all the down. I know how to adjust them but how tight do you make it?

The adjustment can only be had by removing the wheel and pulling the plug and using a screw driver. Therefore, trying to turn the drum by hand it almost immediately will not turn by hand. I've adjusted drum brakes since 1964 when my dad taught me on our 57 Chevy. But these are different since the shoes are not used for normal braking.

I'm assuming that you place a wheel nut on a lug and turn it with a torque wrench to a certain torque. It that how it is done? :(
