Nah, perhaps eventual partnership. Thus in the future sirius setelite radio will be
prebuilt in Nissan Cars.
But, IMHO, it is nissan own advantage to allow their customers to choose btween sirius or xm. It is about preference and by limiting it, Nissan will make satelite radio option less popular or maybe even kill it.
You can buy XM kit online and follow the writeups that Jaak (forum member) wrote right?
Or you can try other dealer who carries the XM kit perhaps?
Or buy a PAc audio interface and buy aftermarket XM delphi/roady like what i did?
If you want xm just have the dealer order it. It takes 2 days (max) if the local pdc has it. I've come across no push by nissan for the sirius (I work for a nissan dealer in parts). For example, I know that when they switched over to Rockford Fostgate for the Sentra/X/Frontier they offered big discounts on the add on changers...but nothing like that on the Murano yet.
