I am missing what appears to be a screw (see upper arrow, which is why I think it's a screw) from the rear passenger-side mud-guard. Anyone know what size that is?

Do I need to visit a dealer's parts department (shudder!)? It's a 2019 Nissan Murano AWD SV.

Thanks!

They are screws that you turn to loosen or tighten.

Thanks for the info (and all the photos!!!). Maybe I'll stop by the dealer's parts dept on the way home, and see how much they want to charge me for one screw 😁

It seems like a fairly common-sized screw. If you have a Lowe's nearby, remove one of the screws and use their screw-measuring board in the hardware aisle to see what thread size it is. Once you find out, I'd probably look in the specialty drawers for those black, hardened screws. Or, I'd buy all stainless steel, since it seems the screw your pics shows has some rust forming beneath it. Could be from the sides of the screw hole on the wheel well flange. I wouldn't bother getting one at a dealer unless they're very close, so if they charge you $3 per screw and Lowe's or Home Depot is miles way, you might save money in gas going with the $3 option.

Keep the push screw things in your glove box. Our 2016 I believe has two sizes and they’re both at O’Reilly and others.

I did not have backups in Wife’s car and the a-hole mechanics had left the screws out here and there over the years because they just don’t GAF.

So the bottom was flapping and rubbing in Oklahoma as I’m driving in front of her and 750 miles from where I started and 750 miles to where I’m going.

Those stupid little screw and push pins can get ya. Take my word for it.
