Has anyone noticed the speedo says 0-160. Half of 160 is 80 so 80mph should be at 12 o'clock but it's closer to 11:50. Making it more to the left of straight up. What's up with that? Is it not calibrated?

Cheese-

The answer to your question was staring you in the face. Sit down and look at the speedometer. What do you see? The numbers are all evenly spaced with the exception of 0 - 10 MPH. This speed range is compressed as compared to the other 10 MPH increments. This causes the rest of the scale to be rotated a few degrees counter-clockwise, which results in the 80 MPH midpoint being off-center.

Most analog speedometers are set up the same way. There is a dead-band for the first 3 or 4 MPH, so to compensate the affected range is compressed. This does not adversely affect the accuracy of the speedometer.
