Okay guys, after four anxiety- filled months of trying to decide between the FX35 and the Murano I've decided that the Mo is the better choice in terms of all around value and long term satisfaction (at least in my specific case). Also, through the FX35 and Murano forums, I've learned that maintenance on the Mo is considerably less than the FX35 which suits me just fine.

The sales person I'm dealing with is offering me the following deals:
Help me choose...

2003 FWD SE Midnight Blue w/ Premium Pkg, Cafe Latte Leather, Sunroof, and VDC
Price: $29,146 + tax

2004 FWD SL Polished Pewter w/ Premium Pkg, Cafe Latte Leather, and Sunroof
Price: $30,087 + tax

Decisions... decisons!

Hmm...

I'd be interested to see what changes/fixes they have made to the '04. Not that there are many....

Me personally - I would go with the 04 SL. I don't like the SE wheels. I would perfer the SE suspension for spirited driving - but I could see where it would become tiring on a road trip. I don't know what the roads are like in Guam - could be a sore a$$ waiting to happen. I didn't see much of a need for the VDC - but we went AWD. I don't imagine you're getting much snow :)

Being the 2nd year of production - the 04 could have better resale - possibly. You are looking at less than $1K to go with the newer ride.

Of course - these are my opinions - do what you will with them.

Good Luck.
