I just got some touchup paint for my Polished Pewter MO from a place called http://www.paintscratch.com . The match seems much better than the the paint bottle supplied by the dealership. I've tried that as well as the touchup pen and I think the paintscratch match is much better(bottle and brush application).

For one thing it's much thinner, so you need to work up coats to level, slowly allowing some drying time. The site even asks for your vin so they can do a more precise match. Don't know if the vin makes a difference or not but I do like the paint.

Very nice find Elliot! The OEM stick is not adequate for filling up the paint chips and no paint bottle is available from Nissan.

I just ordered a 2 oz paint bottle because you really need to fill the hole and create a blob of paint to fix the chip perfectly. Then, Langka Blob remover (http://www.langka.com) is the easiest way to go unless you're not afraid to make your clear coat thinner using 2000 grit paper and water + a pro 3M finition compound.

I couldn't convince myself to try the Langka stuff first on my MO, so I fixed a few chips on my father's Mercedes first... :D

It really does the job as advertised.

WOW! If I have to order the paint (2 oz. for $36.00 paintscratch.com) and then the Langka kit for another $40.00 both plus shipping, I might as well check how much these scratch and dent pros charge first. It's more expensive and trickier with the tri-coat paints.

The thing is that filling chips and scratches is a neverending story so I would call the Langka + paint an investment rather than an expense... ;)
