Just noticed a skip and jerk, happens at low speed maybe when go to accelerate from decelerating, not all the time.

A buddy who works on cars noted he has a tool that can reprogram tranny's. anyone ever have success with that approach? When I called the dealer, they said to bring in for diagnostic for $100 but likely tranny failing.

2007 with 170k miles. It isn't worth putting $ into as has a rusted K frame as well. Is there by chance a quick/easy cheap fix?

Sadly, with that many miles and age, fixing/replacing the CVT and repairing the rusted frame will probably cost more than your Murano is worth...

It's caused by a silent failure of the CKP Sensor. Using a DENSO Sensor is the only solution I know works.

I want to find out why my Nissan Murano jerks when the speed moves from 40-60km/h. What are the possible causes.

The title of this thread makes me think of the people that decided to put these CVT's in these cars. How nice they could be with a normal transmission.
