My MO's faster than yours
Still don't understand the obsession with VDC. It merely applies the brakes to slow down / control the skid. However if you merely upgraded the tires to something that doesn't suck (like the OEMS) then you wouldn't be getting into slides / skids to begin with. I have something similar on my Passat right now . . . ASR & ESP. Same description, same function. It engages a lot less after putting on stickier tires. I actually turn it off in slippery situations (snow) because it hampers too much with the snow tires. Slippage is to be expected when turning and accelerating in snow and too many times I've found it unhelpful for it to brake certain wheels when I could easily regain traction by merely letting off the gas.SugarRushMurano said:based on your story.
