Good to know that sometimes VDC is restricting the way one's drive ....

based on your story.
My murano does not come with the vdc :rolleyes:

Still don't understand the obsession with VDC. It merely applies the brakes to slow down / control the skid. However if you merely upgraded the tires to something that doesn't suck (like the OEMS) then you wouldn't be getting into slides / skids to begin with. I have something similar on my Passat right now . . . ASR & ESP. Same description, same function. It engages a lot less after putting on stickier tires. I actually turn it off in slippery situations (snow) because it hampers too much with the snow tires. Slippage is to be expected when turning and accelerating in snow and too many times I've found it unhelpful for it to brake certain wheels when I could easily regain traction by merely letting off the gas.

I'll be ordering mine without VDC. Also saves me the hassle of not using TPMS sensors (I check my tires regularly and would rather reduce the unsprung weight)
