weird noise

I don’t hear anything but you moved the phone to the exhaust and oil pan. Is it exhaust or engine?

A phone makes everything sound worse than it is....

Which noise are you talking about? I hear one that sounds constant like a piece of metal placed against a grinding wheel. And one that at first sounded like a loud, quick flexing of metal every second (like a heat shield) but then listening more carefully almost sounded like metal slapping metal every second, like something is spinning with a bolt on the outer edge that's sticking out and every rotation that bolt head is contacting something .
