I have a 2010 Murano. My a/c just stopped working during a trip. While trying to diagnose the problem i found a broken plug on the engine block right below the lowest pulley. Its positioned near the oil filter but for the life of me i cant fine where the lead goes. It looks like a pressure switch of some sort as it has a moveable nipple inside it. What is this plug?

That would be your oil pressure switch, which is obviously broken off. The harness, and possibly the remains of the switch, should be floating around nearby. Do you not see the oil pressure light always on? Nevermind, the circuit is closed by default which causes the light to come on until the engine is started and oil pressure opens the switch. With the switch broken off the circuit will always be open, but you should notice the light isn't coming on with KOEO.
