Wow, do you work from home or have a 2nd car you use?pcs15394 said:650 miles per month. I have approx 8800 miles on my Murano which I purchased 03/07/04. By the time I hit 14 months I should have about 9100 miles.
You may want to think about changing your oil every few months even if you don't put a lot of miles on it. The oil tends to dilute with gas during short drives and also becomes acidic which is not good for the insides of your engine. It may also accumulate moisture.hasaanbhutta said:did my oil change on October 20 2004. and today the mileage after the oil change is only 4000kms.
yep, thats my job for next weekend. havent driven my mo for almost 2 weeks now and cant wait to go back and drive it.zebelkhan said:

I think the OEM Nissan and K&N are both good oil filters. Avoid FRAM. Just google "oil filter comparison" to read about how Fram has gone downhill in recent years.hasaanbhutta said:

i actually got AMSOIL in it which is guaranteed to last 6 months or 12,000 miles. i have a jar of 4.4 litres Mobil 1 sitting at home and will be ordering the k&n oil filter once i get back.
PS> is fram filter even better as k&n or the OEM nissan one?
or i should use k&n for its better performance?
