Windshield wiper spray.

2016 Murano Platinum. I replaced the passenger side spray nozzle and hose with a new set. However I get a low pressure spray on the passenger side only. I even found the replacement sprayer split that has a valve inside of it, that controls the pressure for both sides. But I still have a low pressure spray on the passenger side and the driver side sprays at a normal pressure.

Anyone having the same problem? I even traced the lines back to the reservoir and all is okay.

Motor for the reservoir, maybe?

Is it possible the two different jets have a differently sized opening or differently shaped valve opening that would cause a change in the way the fluid sprays out? Any chance the new hose's inside diameter is larger? Perhaps it's wider inside and is creating less pressure once it encounters the original, smaller hose. But that would seem to suggest the line wouldn't fit onto the "T" connector correctly...it might be very loose.

Aside from a partially obstructed "T" connector, where perhaps full volume of fluid isn't making its way to the driver's side nozzle, or maybe a crimped/pinched or partically closed section of hose, I don't know. If you haven't already done so, I'd check the portion of hose that's running from the plastic "T" to the driver's side nozzle in case some junk got stuck inside. Maybe stick a tiny needle into the nozzle to clear any tree sap or other oddity.

BTW, I'm basing my idea on the configuration of the 1st Gen Murano. I've yet to pop the cowl cover on this 2021 to see how things looks. I'm sure a couple of the members here have some diagrams of that system to show how things are run.

So I'm still dealing with this problem of the windshield wiper sprayer. I've replaced the reservoir pump/motor both sprayer nozzles and hose. Even left the hose off the sprayers to check for pressure. A good amount of water came out, but when I hooked it all back up , weak spray on the passenger side and strong pressure on the driver side. I know it's that splitter with the value inside of it. I mean it's a OEM part. I'm going back to see if somehow the hose feeding the passenger side is being pinched near the nozzle. Ugh! The Saga continues.
I've used a needle or fine wire to clean out the spray nozzle in cases like this. It may be partially blocked.

Why? Was low pressure an issue before?

No even with a new spray nozzle, the new one was clogged! Go figure. Now with a new reservoir pump/motor and new splitter and nozzle, everything is finally working. Damn spray nozzle! A new one was clogged!

I replaced the motor and the lines from the motor to the windshield, plus the sprayers. It is the check valve splitter. POS!! I used the old tried and true tube "T" and finally everything is working great. Tossed the original NIssan splitter.
