Who was the genius who designed the wipers on the Murano?? Unless I'm doing something wrong, the wipers don't "lift" up like every other car I've had to easily change them.
Is there a trick??

Sorry but there isn't a way around it. Nissan recommends turning them on until they reach veritcal and then turn the car off to keep 'em in place.

One thing I really hate about the MO too. :3:

Doesn't look like this will be changed any time soon. I would hope that a redesign in 2007 or 2008 might change this but I wouldn't count on it.

It bothers me too... is such a small clearance that it hits the hood even when trying to lift the blades to clean the window. Geesh.

have you guys seen the wipers that the tourag has and the cayenne. they basically have just that rubber peice. well from what i've seen from the JAP model murano that the new style windsheild wipers. i guess they may be on the 06's and then only the dealer will be able to replace them.
