A vendor contacted me about a software mod that he says is "software for Nissan Murano Z52 which activates CarPlay/Android Auto if the car doesn't have it from the factory."

I know there must be members interested in this, so I am opening this thread specifically for discussion of this software. If anyone has a problem with the software or the vendor, post that immediately and I will monitor it and/or shut the thread down.

I can't speak for Apple Carplay, but I'm using a wireless android auto adapter and its working great!

I combined this with a wireless charger phone holder. I'll post the links below:

Is there a way to update the sirius xm graphics? The 2015 facing looks garbage compared to the newer sxm look.

Hi, I have done the upgrade on my 2015 nissan murano and I am loving it so far. Had a little issue where the app to bun the image to the sd card could not work and I was using a windows laptop. What I did was to use the software they instruct me to use on a MAC and that works. That software can be used on both windows and mac. Thanks again customer service was excellent.

Does he give you an MD5 checksum of the .img so you can verify the download before flashing it?

I'm planning to do this once I get a Pixel 8 Pro in the fall. I currently have an iPhone, but I'm looking to switch back to Android. I switched to an iPhone just to use CarPlay in my 2017.5 Murano.

Maybe Black Friday. I don't mind paying the full price. It's worth every penny if I can finally get Android Auto in my Murano.

Over a year ago, someone posted on their Facebook page that it occasionally reboots the nav unit. Has anyone experienced this. If so, has it been fixed in an update since then. Thanks
