I've just sent a PayPal payment on this yesterday and got all the files downloaded from here. Xanavi sent an email with instructions after I contacted them on Facebook messenger. I got a 64gb SanDisk SD card coming in 2 days so if it looks like the weekend I might wait till Monday to flash it so I don't wait for them to return that activation key. I'll post my experience once all is done. I've been on here since 2017 when I got my 2017.5 Murano. I've been using a separate iPhone in the car but I use a Pixel so I really wanted that Android Auto on it. I considered replacing a radio from a 2018 version but I just put it off for so long and just recently started looking around. Came across this and was surprised I can just flash new firmware.
I believe the reason why Nissan doesn't just upgrade old versions is not just the USB port charging but also Google's requirements such as capacitive display. Pinch to zoom isn't the same on those units as they are not capacitive.

There's that, and the fact that Nissan is a car company, not a media software company. I wouldn't expect them to go out of their way to address the crazy number of phones on the market. If I were the manufacturer I would leave that to the aftermarket.

ok, I just got it installed and emailed the dat file back per instructions. It took about 10 minutes for everything to happen just like those instructions. The built I was installing was marked 2022-04-19 so it's very recent compared to my 2017.5 original. I'll post again once I got the license file and how the system works.

And... I just got the key file and installed it. It worked perfect and it works perfectly. I just played with it for a few minutes and I'm really surprised how fast the touch response is from what I had before on this 2017.5 model. Even pinch to zoom is now very responsive as if this was a capacitive display and it makes me wonder if it always was. Nissan must have increased the sample rate on the display driver because it's way better.
Anyway, thank you @XanaviNet for making this possible. It saved me from ripping out the old stereo for some used one from a junk yard. And shame on Nissan for not providing upgrades like this when obviously the hardware is capable. I bet most users would be fine with the charging port not capable of keeping up.

Well is just been a day since the upgrade but so far with a few drivers here and there everything looks like it's working perfectly. I mean I waited 6 years for this and it was worth every penny.

Thank you so much for your prompt response. I have struggled for last 6 years to find any value with the existing Nissan ConnectApp. I'll go ahead and do this upgrade. Will share my experience on this forum. Thanks again and Happy Holidays and have a great Thanks Giving!! Stay safe !!

so I upgraded the system today and everything works perfectly so far. I think Murano 2015 doesn't supports wireless CarPlay and you can have the CarPlay only via connecting your phone with a cable at USB 1 slot, USB 2 won't work but I think that has nothing to do with this software. It would have been awesome to have the wireless capability.

Read this thread back to find out how to get that.

However, there is a solution! You can get a USB Y cable that can pull data and power from one port and power from another port, then it funnels both power sources into 1 USB C connector. They are pretty cheap on Amazon. In fact, the first review I saw on the one I'm gonna post here specifically was talking about Amazon Auto.

Hope this all helps! I'll give you all a further update as I continue to use it.

Still highly suggested.
Got this one and tested it. It doesn't work. It passes data fine from one port but the other does not provide more juice when connected to a cigarette charger.

I ended up trying several splitter options and finally found one that worked. Only catch, each time I connect I have to go into the USB preferences to switch the control from Connected Device to This Device. after that the software senses the connected phone and launches AA and works with my high speed charger simultaneously, with the same occasional disruptions to charging for data downloads that ACS Ajax mentioned. but it's plenty good now to run AA and charge my phone at a strong pace. The splitter that worked for me is this one. I connect the charger to the USB-C port and a male/male USB-A cable to connect to the car's USB1 port in the console to run the software.

I go the exact splitter and it doesn't work for me. Which USB-A male/male cable did you use? The fast charging works but AA never launches because when I try to switch from connected devices to this device it says it failed to switch. I'm thinking it might be the cable.

@XanaviNet do you reside in Russia? I found Estonian company being a shell company without a single employee. Asking because it is important for me before I make a decision to send any monies to Russia.

Do not worry, your money will not go to the Russian government :)
+One of the developers of this software is Ukranian, so the part of the amount will go to Ukraine :)
