Australian. ;) It's interesting that the origin and price of the side steps and bumper protector seems to be a secret. lol. They look great by the way. Another pic from the side would be great, in landscape so it shows the whole car. I'm anticipating that the price will be difficult to jump over. No mention of exceeding the $1000 import GST amount so that might be promising.
Haven't been secretive about them at all, just been abiding by the forum rules. :) (The super long text that I read, before clicking I agree)

Some might think I'm affiliated with them or soliciting or advertising.

I already mentioned that they are from a China manufacturer that produces OEM running boards / side steps. I've dealt with them before hence I was able to get these done.

Also I'm unable to reveal the prices, as the price might be different from what they quoted me and I don't want to set a false expectation.

The good thing as you noticed, that it was under $1K. So no import tax, that plus I normally get my items marked as gift so it goes pass the boarder control without them trying to slap some sort of import tax or goods tax.

I'm not about to pay a grand for the side steps, although my wife, at 5'1", would probably like a set. I would like to see something like this available for US Muranos.
I'm happy to say that they're def not going to cost $1K. Albeit I'm not sure how much shipping will be. It cost me $200+ for shipping as theses weighed about 17kg and two large boxes.

thankz crazy legs 03 well if u want u can ask the rep im very interested something diff for my mo... lets get 2gether and buy it as a wholesale

what do yal say MO players
I haven't had a chance to speak to the rep, however when I get a chance I'll def ask about a group buy. Not sure how it works on this board, is there a trusted member that the goods gets sent to and then he distributes them?
But if we can get the numbers I'm sure there's preference pricing.

Check out the dee zee running boards. I really think these boards have to be them. I wanna get a set for my 09 MO.

These are NOT dee zee running boards. They are Mercedes / BMW styled boards. The brackets are not curved and are straight.
Try out the Dee Zee branded one by all means.

Update: On the Side Steps / Rear Bumper Protector.

We'll need to get a minimum of 10 orders for each piece (Side Boards / Rear Bumper Protector)

Shipping to US is possible (Price will vary according to location - they use UPS, DHL, EMS)

Shipping Price - Unknown / to be calculated per individual location - I paid $200+ to Australia but that was with UPS express delivery which was 3 days.

This was made for my 2012 Murano, so if someone can confirm that the chassis is the same with earlier models then it will be compatible with earlier models of MO.

Pricing dependent on minimum order
I paid $250 for side steps and $50 for Rear Bumper Protector

Payment made via PayPal and I had to add the 4% but it gave me some sense of Buyer Protection.

The only other catch is there's no instructions with this kit. I can take some pictures and put something together. I'm sure if I'm able to do it myself, anyone else can easily tackle this.

So based on the current interests

Put me down for the side steps. (shipping to Australia tho and I don't really need express delivery).
:) Ok, just be aware that Australia Post suck!! They have a maximum size restrictions that may cause issues. If they use EMS it goes through AusPost.

Just had some baby seats delivered from Germany via DHL / Australia Post that took 4-5 weeks to arrive and made me anxious. That was by sea but the price was def more reasonable.

Where as in the US, the USPS are more reasonable.

BTW: can't take a landscape pic till the weekend, had to fly down to Melb for work.

Mod 3 - Bypass Kit Installed and Working Great :D

Moving the shift gear to 'Drive' prior to installing is a great tip and also working on the passenger side instead of the driver side also helps with room.

Thanks for the extra pics. The side steps look great, can't wait to get a set. I'll be interested to see how your tv tuner goes. What's the antenna plan for it?

Here's mine from the side, I put legal tint on all the windows, obviously only the fronts would still be technically legal and I would have put darker tint on them except the missus wouldn't wear it and it is her car after all. lol.

Image

My car gets mafia tint all round whether she likes it or not. ;)

Piggy - Love those wheels on that 300C... What are they?

Mod 4 - Window Visor

After installing the Bypass Kit, gave the car a clean and then on to the 4th Mod.

Cleaned it with a bit of metho too, to make sure its fully clean before sticking the 3M tape.

These are the smoked, sleeker ones with chrome accents.
Installed with double side 3M tape along with clips.

Took me awhile to figure out how to do the clips, but eventually did it :D

thanks!

nicely done crazy legs:6::6:
Paid $250 for them.
Let us know how you go with sourcing them, as there's some American mo owners on this board thar are interested.

We're trying to get a group buy happening, so would get preferential pricing. So far there's 5 interested buyers.

Piggy, why does your car look so "chubby" in that pic? Maybe it's the pic angle.
I'll assume you're talking about the Chrysler, otherwise you must be saying my wifes car has a fat arse. If that were the case you'd be in serious danger of being slapped around the head. By her, not me. :D But yeah, it must be the angle of the dangle. lol.

Piggy - Love those wheels on that 300C... What are they?
They're Chrysler SRT wheels. Well, replicas actually because they're 22 inch and the factory ones are only 20's. (and who would want pissy little 20 inch wheels on their car).

Sorry for the off topic but that 300C is looking great! Totally my style!
Thanks man, that's nice of you to say. I agree with you 100%, my style too. :29:

I reckon those wheels will look nice on the MO.
Especially with the red accents.

Someone in another thread here powdercoated their wheels black and they looked pretty good, but I felt there was just some little thing lacking and I reckon it was the red accents. Anyway, they won't fit, studs are a different PCD. I was hoping to try them on her previous car, Dodge Nitro but damnit they didn't fit on that either.

So how's the count going now? Still only on 5 are we?
