Mine is 07. Does it got newer version?
Just to let you know, Nissan parts does not offer a TPMS sensor rebuild kit. You get such kits elsewhere.
More often then not, if you have an older TPMS that is seeing air leakage it is the result of a cracked metal stem or a corrosion issue. A corrosion issue, thanks to negative metal to metal chemical interaction.
NEW style TPMS sensors have rubber valve stems and thanks to this rare cracked stems and no negative interaction between stem metal and wheel rim metal resulting in corrosion that is again, one source of air leakage.
In closing undoubtedly you have the old style unless of course somewhere along the line the new style TPMS with rubber stem was installed. Look and see if the stem is rubber or metal on that problematic wheel.
Also.. did you know... TPMS sensors are usually powered by a 3-volt lithium ion battery, but some use a 1.25-volt nickel metal hydride battery. The battery can last from 3 to 5 to 12 years much dependent on the number of RF transmissions, the battery type, climatic conditions at the vehicles home locale and more. No, the battery in the TPMS cannot be replaced.
