Issue with home made CDs

As car problems go, this is not major...but is anyone else having problems playing home made CDs? I burn these from I-tunes. Regular store-bought CDs work fine.

I downloaded digital music from iTunes but burned them using Windows Media Player and they all work fine.

Audio Files Supported

(Files created with a combination of 48 kHz sampling frequency and 64 kbps bit rate cannot be played )

MP3

Version MPEG1 Audio Layer 3

Sampling frequency 8 kHz - 48 kHz

Bit rate 8 kbps- 320 kbps, VBR *1

WMA

(Protected WMA files (DRM) cannot be played )

Version WMA7,WMA8, WMA9

Sampling frequency 32 kHz - 48 kHz

Bit rate 32kbps - 192 kbps, VBR *1

AAC

( Models with navigation system )

Version MPEG-AAC

Sampling frequency 8 kHz - 96 kHz

Bit rate 16 kbps- 320 kbps, VBR *1

Tag information (Song title and Artist name)


ID3 tag VER1.0, VER1.1, VER2.2, VER2.3, VER2.4 (MP3 only)

WMA tag (WMA only)

*1 When VBR files are played, the playback time may not be displayed correctly

Knowing that the iTunes Gestapo make an issue of copy protection, I wish you luck. I don't use i-gear, so I can't address specifics, but it wouldn't surprise me if the CD has code which is a copy violation, and which your CD player is rejecting.

I put stuff on my Android phone and use a standard stereo mini-plug cable to connect to an Aux input.
