Grey. I asked the tech about that picture and he acted like he knew what it was but now I am wondering. I will take it in next week.

So was there anything else specific I can print out of that manual you know of? Like a certain page or pages?

You are a gem for helping so much and I appreciate it!

What is the cost of this. My dealer said they have to bill half hour of technicians charge
Well, if you go to that dealer, the simple answer is that the cost is what he says it is. At many places, a half-hour is the minimum shop charge.

My dealer wanted to charge me at first. I told them they did my Juke for free when I bought that and knew it was only a 5 minute job to do the locks. They could tell I was pissed and backed down and did it for free.

If you purchased the car from them, this is something simple the dealer should be doing FREE for you as part of the sale of the car for customer satisfaction to keep you coming there for your main maintenance/services and future car purchases.

If you didn't purchase the car from them I could see them wanting a charge.

The second picture I posted was page 24 (DLK-24) of the Service Manual. The first picture I posted was the screen that he should be looking at using their computer. They have to hook the computer up to change this option. There really isn't a need for a Tech to know this option, but they should be able to find it and change it.

Done but now Power Lock works only once

Got it done by the dealer for free. Now the power unlock works when shifted to Park. But if I keep driving afterwards without turning the car off, the Auto Lock doesn't get activated(even if driving above 15mph) and the doors stay unlocked. Tech says, for Auto Lock to be activated the car has to be turned off and on again to reset it. Did anyone else notice this and is there a fix for this without having to turning the engine off and on.

No. Mine always re-locks when I start driving again..

I saw this in the service manual which might help (Page DLK-24).

The automatic door lock function ON/OFF can be switched by performing the following operation:
1. Close all doors (door switch OFF).
2. Ignition switch: OFF→ON
3. Press and hold the door lock and unlock switch for 5 seconds or more in the lock direction within 20 seconds after turning the ignition switch ON.
4. The switching is complete when the hazard lamp blinks as follows:
OFF → ON : 2 blinks
ON → OFF : 1 blink

Have not noticed that side effect Brund, but a byproduct of my tech finally figuring this out, is that the radio does not keep playing until a door is opened anymore. Radio shuts off with ign off !
Makes me wonder what else has been changed unintentionally.

My radio has never kept playing when the ignition is shut off. I didn't think Nissan included the radio in the retained accessory power... just the windows.

Sorry, and back on subject... my doors re-lock at 15mph as well after the door lock update.

It's a small miracle!!! Today after going in for the first oil change...my service Tech finally figured out how to get ALL 4 doors to unlock when shifting into park!! WHOO HOO!!

And if someone figures out how to keep the radio on after you shut the car off you better tell me HOW!! LOL

I wish that were possible. When pulling up to pump gas and my family is sitting inside the car, they want to keep listening to the radio. Well, you have to cycle the infotainment back on and watch the little Nissan emblem video and Nissan Connect logo thing all over again. After about 30-45 seconds (if you were listening to blue tooth), you're back in business. 30-45 seconds is an eternity for my 13 year old daughter.

In our 2014 Durango, all you had to do was hit the start button again one time to keep it on accessory power after shutting off the engine. FCA allows everything to run on retained accessory power.

YEP..on my Gen 2 you just had to hit the start stop twice in a row pretty quick. It would shut off the motor and keep the radio going. Now it's indeed a 30-45 second wait.
