Hi everyone,

It's time to replace the factory Bridgestone tires and like others, I want to go wider than the 235/55/20. I see that a lot have gone to the 255/50/20 set up, however I've got a chance to get a steal of a deal on 265/50/20's. I know that the we are fine on the width of the tread with no running issues, where I have concern is on the rim width measurement... The 265 tires have a tire rim width of 8.5". On our stock 7.5" rims, do you think this is too wide of a tire to fit on the stock rims?

I can't help with that question, but don't forget to check tire diameters and make sure that you match the factory diameter or your speedometer and odometer will not be accurate. Tirerack and similar sites have that info in the tire specs.

I ran 265/50-20 winter tires on my '09 Murano LE for 7 years and had no problems. I felt that they were a tad too wide, looks-wise, but other than that, they ran just fine on the stock 7.5" wide OEM wheels. Definitely no curb rash on the wheels with those tires!

I currently have 255/50-20 summer and winter tires and feel that size is perfect for the Gen3. Hope this helps and take care!

Thanks Jim. By any chance would you happen to have some close up pictures? I'm trying to determine if the 265 will look too bubbly on the side walls for the Gen 3
