Hi Everyone,

This is a strange one but I wonder if anyone else is experiencing it. When I use the air conditioning system I get a fish like smell whether I use the external or internal vents. I will be bringing it to the dealer to have them check it out at my next oil change/tire rotation.

Anyone else experience this ? If so then how was it resolved ?

Thx for your anticipated help :)

I have a bit of burning rubber smell (subtle). But my Mo has only 2600 miles on it so I'm hoping it goes away.

For a fishy smell I'd look for water to be stagnant somewhere (do you live in a humid area)?
(I'm in the coastal desert so a don't have to worry to much about mildew or anything like that).

We get in from time to time - it's coming from stall water condensate accumulating after each AC use, if you don't vent or let it dry. Usually when using AC you use it during the drive and then shut off engine and go home - without letting fan work with AC turned off for several minutes - this dries water condensate that will otherwise just sit there (where the inner heat exchange radiator is - the air blows through it into the cabin via vents, not the front big one). We get it sometimes in other vehicles too - Hondas etc. Its just a regular climate thing. So just after AC usage - then let it blow on high with AC turned off for 5 min before you pull into your home driveway.
