I still have the problem. I let a message with Nissan Tech Support. We'll see what happens. The mechanics also told us to replace the transmission fully, but now it will cost as same or maybe even more than what she spent when buying the Murano '04 itself. In addition to shifting delay, we also have another problem with a delay in acceleration, so there is a mode that comes up at random (and recently a lot) where it takes 1-2 seconds to start getting some RPMs after pressing the gas pedal.

Check the engine air intake duct for leaks (holes/tears). It's a very common problem and can lead to low speed performance issues.
