I installed an injen CAI on my 2007 MO about a week ago. The car ran fine without any problems and I enjoyed my CAI with no issues until yesterday. Yesterday when I started my car, the Service Engine Soon light was on and while the car was in park the RPMs were noticeably higher at about 1100. While driving, the RPMs did not seem to run as smooth either and the lowest they dropped were 1100. What should I do?

Should I re-install the factory intake and take it into a nissan dealer? or is it ok if I just take it into a nissan dealer with the injen intake in? Is the warrantee voided if they see the injen intake in, or can i just take it to one dealer with the injen intake in and if told the warantee is voided, then take it to another dealer with the factory intake installed? or is there another way around it? Thanks for any input...

Sincerely,
Alan

Verse,
I dont have a CAI yet so I am no expert in this category.
But I would first check to make sure you have no air leaks in your intake. Also try resetting the ECU.

I am sure you will get more advise from the senior members but this is a start.

No problem for a week after installation.

Need to look for another problem. Changing the air drag in front of the throttle plate isn't it.

Maybe you damaged wiring to the MAF sensor or the plug is loose. Air leak developed down stream of throttle plate.

Question regarding the warranty are not my cup of tea. Maybe you can reposition the original filter system and see if problem remains if so go to dealer for fix.
