And the only photo I have of the Murano. It's dirty, just got back from a trip to the snow at Big Bear and it really surprised at how well it did in the snow. This is a friend's GN in the pic, not mine.

Very nice Nash. Where are you from? I was this close to buying a Nash or a Typhoon before i bought my colorado but i had to be a responsible person and buy a "reliable" daily driver lol.

Nice SVO! I loved those cars when I was growing up. A friend had one with a 60 trim turbo, Indy head, and a built bottom with a 100 shot thrown in too. It surprised and pissed off lots of the V8 guys. I would love to take on one of those as a project but I can't find any within 100 miles of here.

I'm in Bakersfield, CA. There used to be a few of us around here terrorizing the streets. Now I see another maybe once every 2-3 years. I only drive mine maybe a few times a year. Just too afraid of it getting hit.

I hear ya. I love Nashs. My buddy has a real GNX but never drives it wtf? I would crap myself if i had yours haha. Very brave in cutting into that thing, thats how i always feel about cutting into my svo. Itll be nice but worth crap collectorwise huh.

I have a love/hate relationship with my svo. Sometimes i really love it and can't wait to drive it, othertimes i just wanna get rid of it but i've had it since high school. I've got a T3/T4 ball bearing in it with a 60 trim, turbocoupe ecm and injectors but otherwise stock. Not sure what it puts out, im estimating 230ish whp if im lucky lol. Its really fun, i know you know how fun turbo cars are lol.

Nice! i would hang on to that car for a looong time. It's safe to say the value will not be going down. Most younger people these days have no idea what it is. I love how it looks more European than the other Fords of the time.

I've almost sold mine I don't know how many times. It's awesome when everything is working right but I've thrown tools at it, cussed it out, and ignored it for months on end. Now that I'm 33yrs old and I've had it since highschool I have a little more respect. It's not just the car anymore, it's all of the memories that it has. Right now it's down with a grenaded pinion gear. I drive it around on the Hoosier Quick Time Pros on the street so they get fairly stressed out all the time. I destroyed it on a new ZR1 Vette. I had him by about 5 cars and pulling hard at 60-70mph when it let go so I guess that goes down as a loss but it sure was fun.

Very nice. Blowin a rear end goes down as one of those things that your not entirely upset about cuz i guess your supposed to be mad but at the same time you've been dying to drop in a 9 inch or a 12 bolt am i right?? lol. Unless that is a 12 bolt, i can't tell.

Yeah alot of idiots do V8 swaps into SVOs (not sure why???) thinking its cool now when they've just ruined what an svo stood for. Im sure you can relate, i've seen a few BB Nashes and G bodys out there.

There's actually a car club out here in oakland who run a repair shop and these guys are all about turbo buicks. I've never seen so many in one spot. But i guess the word is these guys also do shady things like steal them. I know they've got a turbo buick inside a malibu, malibu wagon, el camino and a montecarlo ss.

I know the group you're talking about. It came down to blows one time with them and that's all I'll say.

I can certainly relate to the guys throwing a V8 in an SVO. You're right, the turbo 4 is what made it special and you're basically turning it into a regular ordinary Mustang by doing that. Same with the BBC Gns. IMO they're just another Regal.

No 12 bolt yet. This poor stock axle stood up all these years to 1.4 sec 60's at the track and it finally gave up. I haven't had the money to take it to the track in a lot of years. I don't even know what it would run with the new combo and weight reduction and I may never find out. It's not even close to being legal at the track and I was lucky to get a handful of 10 second runs. So with this in mind I'll either do a 9" or do a slight upgrade to 32 spline axles on the stock unit and keep it away from the track. My father spent tons of money building up the stock 8.5" 10 bolt so he would not have a "Ford" part in his car even though most of the aftermarket 9" axles were never in a Ford. To me, Domestic is Domestic. Some of my best competition was from the old Fox bodies.
