Previous rides

These are what I sold in order to get into something a little easier for an older guy to get in and out of...they were really nice cars, but it was time to move into a little more comfort and a LOT more room. Whereas I miss the slam back performance, I don't miss the six speed shifter in stop and go traffic. My "need for speed" has abated considerably. I do like the Murano and am quite contented with the choice I made.

Lex, are those Euromaxes on your murano? They look really good, are they dubs or dueces i can't tell?

Thanks Turbizzy,

Check out the post

& yes they are Euromax/SportMax 22's.

2005 Dodge Ram Daytona with a 6.1L 370ci HEMI stroked out to a 7.0 426ci. Im hooking up the nitrous and going for my goal of a 10 sec 1/4 mile truck. Its still a street truck which is why i love it so much and the faces of people when i pull up to the light

This is the newest addition...bought it October of last year. :D

2 days after I picked her up, I had to pickup new tires at the dealership and decided to take pics of it. It's a 2.0T Limited.

Getting ready for winter by putting new shoes...17 inch Toyo tires. So far, performance is amazing. Mrs SLVER is quite happy with her new car. My MO is looking quite dated when compared to the SFS (Santa Fe Sport).

How's the ride compare to MO? Quick, quite?

Congrats

This one is a beast and is quite fast. Not breathtaking fast but it can definitely give the MO a run for its money. 0-60 times not only feels faster than the MO but it does everything so effortlessly. It may be due to turbo lag which is almost null and the transmission (once warmed up) works flawlessly and really teams up well with the engine (264 hp/269 lb-ft of torque) to put the power to the wheels. The AWD is superb with the combination of winter tires. It's definitely quieter than the MO on the highway and the suspension is on par with an LE model (did a test drive before deciding on the SFS). Nothing beats the growl of a VQ though. I'm still enamored with my MO and eventhough I don't have ventilated cooled seats, panoramic sunroof, rear window shades, perforated leather and heated front and rear seats, 12 speaker stereo, I have style! :D
