My Other ride

My other car is this 2008 Holden (Chev) V8 Ute. With only 34 thousand K,s on the clock. It has a few tasteful mods ..it looks great and goes as well as it looks..
Its a pity that Holden (Chev) here in Australia didn't put this great six litre V8 and wonderful trans motor in an SUV here..they were totally crazy not to..
I would have bought one in an instant.

Cheers.

6.0 Holden crew checking in! My daily driver is a 2005 Pontiac GTO (rebadged Holden Monaro that Pontiac sold in the US).

Here she is lapping historic Nelson Ledges Raceway:

There were rumors the Ute was going to make it over here but then GM went bankrupt, killed off Pontiac and once they were Government Motors had no interest in an UN-Green V8 powered Ute.

I'm guessing you guys can't get the Trailblazer SS over there. It's just what you're asking for:

Jay, I believe that vehicle (or a variation on that chassis/engine) is now sold in the US as the Impala SS, available with a manual transmission!

Close, it's being sold as the Chevy SS and it's actually a rebadged Holden Commodore. Size wise it's between the Malibu and Impala.

Basically it's a Pontiac G8, which was also a Holden Commodore rebadge job.

Cars which don't excite us don't last long in my family.
