where is the air intake located on the murano? i am going to the desert and it was recommended that once i get there and park the car, i should block off the air intake so the fine dust of the desert doesnt come into the car through there. i am going to close the vents too.

The air intake is located on top of the radiator. Lift up the hood and you will see a wide black plastic intake surrounded by a foam strip.

You may also want to consider blocking off the HVAC air intakes located at the base of the windshield at the trailing edge of the hood.

What desert are you referring to?
