So I live here in the snow belt
we had one storm last week that dumped 20 inches of snow
another storm this week that also has dumped 15 inches of snow here
my first test in the winter with this car and it was terrible, it was slipping everywhere, couldnt get traction, to say i was disappointed would be an understatement (of course the roads are somewhat plowed, so there isnt 20 inches on the roads: a mixture of snow, slush, salt, etc)
so my advice: I recall when i was at the dealer, I saw some Muranos with the Goodyear Fortera tires...if you are buying the Murano (l have an 2010, but I think it applies to other years) and live in the snow area, get it with the fortera tires, these Duelers are a JOKE in the white stuff
for proof: look at the following link

you can see the difference between the dueler and the fortera, the fortera has deeper cracks (for the lack of better word)
