Welcome to the forum.

It sounds like you are enjoying your MO. :4:

Using "S" should have no adverse affect on the CVT, however it could prove to be detrimental to your checkbook if there are a lot of speed-traps in your town. ;)

Many MO drivers use the "S" setting for spirited driving. "L" is of limited use.

The "OFF" setting on the AWD LOCK switch does not affect the automatic operation of the AWD system. Regardless of the position of the switch, the AWD system will engage the rear wheels if slippage is detected at the front wheels.

An important word of caution - Do NOT engage the AWD LOCK on dry ground. The transfer case can fail if the AWD system is engaged when all four wheels have good traction. The AWD Lock switch is best left in the off position unless you are starting out on snow, ice, sand, or mud.

Enjoy the ride. :roadtrip:

Since the MO SE is a six speed manual (shift tronic) and you have to shift it up and down manually your self. What are the recommended RPMS for ****ting? Is it like a real manual car? Where you’re ok as long as you don’t red line it?
R-

The MO SE is not a six-speed manual. It is an automatic transmission with an option that allows you to manually select six "gear ratios".

When the manual mode is selected the CVT will hold the pulley ratios at one of six pre-set configurations. "Gears" 1 and 2 will change the pulley ratios slightly as the vehicle speed increases, but 3, 4, 5 and 6 will remain constant.

For spirited driving you want to keep the engine in it's sweet spot. For the MO the sweet spot is between 4,440 and 5,800 rpm.

Can you use the shift tronic for day to day driving?
Sure. For some people it makes driving more fun. :roadtrip:
