Your 2017 Platinum came with Yokohama Geolanders?

My 2017 Platinum came with Bridgestone Duelers.

I wonder if its geography based or availability based on what you get.

Let me know what you end up getting. I'm going to be in the market for new tires next year.

I second this. Researched everything I could find for weeks and this was the consensus best option for my needs, which were exactly the same order as yours, but I'm in Florida so I didn't have to consider winter performance much. Not sure if that matters to you or not. Anyway, the Michelins are an ENORMOUS improvement over the stock Bridgestone Duellers that came on mine. Also, going wider from 235's to 255's gave me a more sporty look and driving experience, since there is so much more grip.

I'll third this. Swapped out factory Bridgestones at 3K miles, that's how much I hated them.

Got the Michelin Premier LTX 255/55/20 (a tad taller) after much research and never looked back. With the wider tire, you will lose a little MPG, depending on your driving style.

Have a good day.

2018 Platinum. Recently replaced Duelers with Good Year WeatherReadies. Had them on 2017 CRV and worked well

I have a 2015 Platinum and replaced with Michelin 235/55/R20 Primacy Tour A/S. Much better than OEM tires. Quieter, good gas mileage, very good wear so far. Only 5K to date but nothing negative yet.

I liked the Goodyear Assurance - Warranty 85, 000 miles. Also Uniroyal Tiger Paw withWarranty 75,000 miles - good luck
Also many install but get alignment !
Either way around $850 ....

We got the Goodyear Assurance on our Jeep Grand Cherokee. Good on dry and wet roads, poor traction on anything like snow. So slippery that I bought separate snow tires and rims for winter. Can't recommend the Goodyear Assurance as 4-season tires if you have snow.

"Goodyear Assurance" is a line of tires which include:
  • All-Season
  • Comfortred
  • Comfortred Touring
  • Fuel Max
  • MaxLife
  • WeatherReady
Without stating the specific model, a comment that Goodyear Assurance tires are either good or bad in the snow is ambiguous.

I am using 255/50R20 Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady tires on my 2010 Murano LE AWD, and found them capable in last winter's Iowa snow.

I recently purchased some Toyo Back Country HT Touring tires (10,000 miles ago) from Les Schwab (a common dealer here in the Pac NW. They are rated M & S. Traditionally, I've always had a set of snow tires and wheels for every car, but I think this set is going to work well for all seasons. We travel to Montana quite a bit and live in Central Oregon. The tires have a nice block pattern on the outside which contributes to excellent stability at higher speeds (90ish going to MT) and siped, aggressive tread in the center. Very quiet. In the snow, they have great traction. In MT, we were on a fairly steep logging road to snowshoe and had no problems in about 10 inches of snow at slower crawl speeds. I didn't attempt any further due to clearance issues; it was starting to pile up on the front air dam, though. They are also very stable in high water which typically piles up on I84. Between Central Oregon and the Willamette Valley (about 120 miles each way and includes a pass of about 5000 feet), I average 30 mpg not driving terribly conservatively and with a rack cross-bars installed - 27 there and 33 back.

I'm in search of replacement tires as well. I'm currently checking 4WheelOnline for their selection of all-season tires. I've decided to get all-season tires this year instead of winter tires because I want to experience the versatility and practicality of it. In addition, I think it'll save me time in replacing and mounting the tires.

Will a 245/60/20 Michelin LTX fit fine? I don’t care about the speedo.

We moved to an area with unlimited amazing gravel forest roads and I want to put a bigger/softer tire on. Not to mention how much better the LTX is than the garbage that came on this car.

Going with a larger tire will render your spare tire unwise to use due to the diameter difference overstressing your AWD system... So be sure to account for this. For emergencies you may want to carry a tire rope repair kit like @PaulDay has mentioned in the past, as well as a good quality 12v air pump.
